Pros: MICU was well staffed and the happiest unit. Only floated about 5 times, once mid shift.
Cons: Most unhappy place I've been in 3 years of traveling, staff don't like working there. Mostly staffed by travelers. Scheduler doesn't know how to schedule, worst schedule I've had. Only two PCUs so ED …
Pros: Just finished a year there and loved the ED. Tons of teamwork and they help you through it.
Cons: Much busier than other EDs in the area.
Pros: Former staff says it's travel friendly. Level 1 with very sick patients. Phlebotomy and RT days and nights, and the cafeteria food is better than most.
Cons: Your unit MAY have a tech or two and they often get pulled for sitters. Sorian charting. Another nurse says it's gone way downhill in the last year and lifers are leaving.
