Pros: Two 13 week contracts on 3 South med/surg/tele GI nights and I'm so glad I did. Staff hospital wide were welcoming to a first time traveler. Self scheduling that they actually honored. Floated only 3 …
Cons: Would have extended but they 'normalized' traveler rates down to match nearby states. Atlanta housing can be pricey. Cancelled twice, both OT nights.
Pros: Night shift is easy. Very nice people and traveler friendly.
Cons: 6 patients most nights, geriatric population. Med-surg nurses can't start IVs or draw from central lines unless checked off. Supplies aren't on the floor.
