Cons: Floated most days between halls on the unit. A cath lab traveler had a rough time moving between towers.
Pros: Would take another contract here. Epic. A surgery traveler currently there likes it, big hospital.
Cons: On the step down pods you might have a 6 patient assignment with no tech between 2200 and 0600. Mostly floated to the med surg side.
Pros: Spent 7 months here on Pulm Acute (contract states IMC) and would absolutely come back. Ratios were 1:2 or 1:3 on Pulm Acute and 1:4 or 1:5 on the Med-Surg halls. Two charge nurses per shift, neither …
Cons: Honestly nothing worth flagging. Great experience start to finish. Would 100% recommend and I'm planning to head back.
