Pros: Never out of ratio in ICU, 2:1 or 1:1 with an IABP. Tele 4:1, med-surg 5:1, ED 4:1. Never floated mid shift. Sickest patients in the area so you learn a lot. Any scrub color.
Cons: ICU contract was basically float pool, 8 different units, different one most days. No ED orientation. Omnicell access had to be granted daily. Big spread out tele units. Floors go out of ratio when st…
