Pros: Workload itself was fairly easy and manageable, and you get a one hour break. I loved the Bay Area.
Cons: NICU was extremely toxic. Staff were openly rude even to each other, travelers got targeted, people combed through our charts on breaks looking for mistakes, and over 10 contracts were cancelled in 13…
Pros: Staff pretty helpful. CNAs work hard and are well staffed. Free parking, any scrubs, good cafeteria.
Cons: Cancelled early, it felt dangerous. Assignments by room adjacency with no regard to acuity, often 5 heavy, confused or violent patients. Lunch sometimes at 9:15am. Rates cut to push travelers out.
