Pros: Break nurse available. Ratios on paper 1:4-5. Epic.
Cons: Hired for emergency observation but it's really a float contract, floated about 77% of shifts including 12 straight. Charge doesn't make assignments, you just take a nurse's group so nothing is by acu…
Pros: Nurses work well together. 1:3-4 on 8th floor and 1:2-3 on 5th. Phlebotomy, break nurse, charge, housekeeping. Management willing to work with you on your schedule. Epic, any color scrubs.
Cons: Most of the techs are useless, even core staff agreed. BPs don't flow into Epic so you can't see them unless you're in the room.
