Pros: Overall positive. Very kind with ratios, only doubled 5-6 times, devices almost never doubled. Travelers can take IABP, Impella, LVAD, CRRT with experience. Floated twice in 13 weeks. Staff nice and w…
Cons: Required day/night rotation, the only reason I didn't stay. Chinatown location.
Pros: Managers nice. 3 full orientation shifts. Usually a CNA each shift. Floats only to other ICUs and not often. Self scheduling mostly honored. T stop at the door.
Cons: 8-bed NCCU with no provider on the unit at night, message them through a phone app. Rotating 50/50 days and nights, every other weekend. Security lax. Expensive garages and theatre traffic.
