Pros: 4/5. Very travel friendly, many staff are former travelers and everyone extends. They taught me burn from scratch. Patients mostly not super critical. Only floated 4 times, never cancelled. Manager am…
Cons: Teaching hospital, residents can be frustrating. Older building, not great downtown area. Phoenix traffic is horrendous. Housing tight.
Pros: Stayed 6 months, staff awesome, my favorite so far. Lots of travelers working together. Free parking with golf carts. Epic.
Cons: No tele-specific unit, float to burn, med-onc, trauma and PCU. No night phlebotomy, no IV team, few resources. Rough population with prisoners and psych.
Pros: Very traveler friendly, night shift mostly travelers who help each other. Night charge knowledgeable and hands on. Always stuck to ratios, usually a floater when busy, and charges get you a lunch. Sec…
Cons: Heavy Spanish-speaking, inmate and psych population, rough neighborhood. Mid shifters cut when census drops. Nitpicky chart audits by email.
