We are considering renting our furnished homestead while we travel for 3 months. A unique property which has been designed and built by us with edible landscaping, planted by us. Most of the plants are fruits and beautiful, fragrant flowers. This is a 3 year old home with 2 baths and 2 bedrooms and a welcoming, open design, tucked away behind foliage. An outdoor, garden shower we use exclusively over the interior tub/shower combo. There is 15kw of solar power and water catchment, so the only other expense is propane for the stove top and on demand hot water, which is negligible. We have two cool cats “Charman” and “Toots” who just showed up in our lives, decided to live here and earn their keep with rodent patrol in the jungle island environment. It is for their care that we post our/their home for rent while we are gone. They are outdoor/indoor cats who we leave a window open to the deck for, so they can come and go as they please. They don’t require a litter box, as they go outside freely. There are chickens and fresh eggs daily. No additional pets please. May also have a Nissan Sentra to use with the property.
