Hi. I have a bedroom with private bathroom for traveling medical professionals. I am close to Bangor, Maine (and many medical facilities) and also far enough to feel like you in a sanctuary space when you are home. The Kenduskeag stream runs right through our backyard and we have several acres of woods and an open park-like feeling around our house. This property is really special, it has a lot of really beautiful views and places to sit and enjoy all the nature here (anything from the usual squirrels to foxes, deer, turkey, geese, ducks, and bald eagles. You can fish in the stream right in the backyard (although the resident wildlife gets the larger fish I am told) and the annual Kenduskeag canoe race brings 700 to 800 people paddling by, which is a fun event to witness -- we usually have a BBQ that day out there. This carpeted space has a lot of natural light and 4 large windows facing the back. Our private road is shared with one other neighbor. It is furnished with a unique king sized for post bed, writing desk, bookshelves and closet. Pets considered on a case-by-case basis.
