Pros: A commenter who spent 8 months at Plaza says amazing, helpful people and was always included.
Cons: Hired for PCU but everything outside ICU is called PCU, really med-surg with tele, 1:5-6. You float between Plaza, Overland Park, Lee's Summit and North KC, sometimes redirected on arrival. Scheduled …
Pros: Great hospital with good policies and a good cafeteria, plus free catered lunch every day. 14 PCUs at 1:4-5, heart tower (cardiac/renal) is the best to float to. People are great. Epic, busy Level 1.
Cons: It's absolutely a float contract, floating every other shift for weeks, including to ED holds. Neuro is rough. No OT for travelers unless on a 48hr contract. World Cup may squeeze housing.
